How the SweetCloud Factory Operates: Team and Planning

As sales grow, SweetCloud is developing the management of its own factory in Belgrade. Production, recipe development, and deliveries are assigned to the team, while sales, production, and procurement plans are coordinated within a single schedule.
In March, the production facility completed its first shift without the founders operating the equipment. In April, a food technologist from Belgrade joined the recipe development process, and in May, Uroš Vojvodić — a manager with experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector — became the Executive Director of Sweet Cloud D.O.O. He was selected from 34 candidates following interviews and a test assignment: preparing an export plan.
The sales plan is prepared for each product item separately for Serbia and export markets. Based on this plan, the team determines the production schedule and the necessary raw material stocks. The plan is reviewed monthly to align factory capacity utilisation with distributors' needs.
This is how SweetCloud is organising the operations of its growing production facility: distributing responsibilities within the team and linking production output to sales and procurement.
